This week we learnt about a famous photographer named Edith Amituanai. We studied her work and were very interested in the photos she took. We also created our own document of photagraphs about ourselves.

Task Description: This week we had to read texts from news articles and research if the article was real or fake. We found out how to decide whether a post was fake or not by researching on the web and even reading it to see if it sounded real or ridiculous. Here are three things we used to spot the crime:
Researching the headline online to see if any ligit sites also had the same article.
Also Just reading the headline and article was easy to tell if they were real or not.

Task Description: This week we read the text Naughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman. We read a few chapters then compared the differences of each character.

Task Description: This week we studied protest in NZ in the last 100-200 years. We found two protests, one the Parihaka protest and the Woman's Suffrage Petition.
Task Description: This week we learnt how to properly write narratives and even understand them by use of a story mountain, I found the story mountain easy to understand and I know recognise it as a great tool for writing narratives.
